New Dance HITT !!

Dance/Movement Class now at Alachua County Girls Club

In this new class, we are excited to be bringing the HITT program to a new, younger group of children. Tailored to younger students, this class uses several forms of dance and music to communicate and explore issues thru the use of movement and creative expression. Studies have shown that younger audiences find it easier to communicate through their body and movement rather than using oral communication.  This class is gender specific, working with 2nd and 3rd grade girls, and focuses on building protective factors for young girls, primarily self-esteem and working with in a group. We believe it is never too early to start building the skills that protect children from the risks and dangers they will face in their lives.
